Silica Fume ASTM standard

MS 190A is dry microsilica powder, also namely Silica Fume. MS 190A is obtained by steam oxidation of silicon discharged through flue and collected by specially designed dust collector when smelting ferro-silicon and processing industrial silicon, amorphous, powdered silicon dioxide. 

The main application of MS 190A is Portland cement based concrete mixtures, dry mix mortars and fiber cement etc. MS 190A can increase the mechanical properties, long-term durability and impermeability as its superfine particle and pozzolanic reactivity with cement.

MS 190A is available with undensified (U) and densified (D) product, bulk density for undensified product is 200~400kg/m³ typically and for densified product is 600~750kg/m³ typically.
