MKA 12 is metakaolin made by high quality Kaolin as raw material, through several purifying process and under a given calcined condition. It can react with calcium hydroxide which is the outgrowth of portland cement in the course of hydrating and product a new colloidal material, which is also called pozzolanic reactivity. As to the high effective pozzolanic reactivity, MKA11 can enhance the performance of concrete and mortar obviously.

The functions of MKA 12:

- significant increase in compressive and flexural strength, especially early strength

- reduce and eliminate the phenomenon of efflorescence

- improve the resistance of permeability

- enhance concrete durability

- reduce and eliminate the reaction of alkali and silica (ASR)

- enhance the resistance of chemical attack

- color adaptability as good whiteness

The recommended dosage of MKA 12 is 5~15% of the weight of cement or cement+lime, and the practical dosage depends on the mineral ingredients of cement condition and should be determined by test data.
