Basalt Fiber for Cement Concrete

CBF-C15-6 is short cut Basalt Fiber based on the continuous basalt fiber through special surface treatment, which is cut into a certain length according to user’s demand. It is specially developed for the reinforcement for cement concrete or mortar which can be used as an alternative material of rebar or Steel Fiber in some application occasions. As a secondary reinforcement material, it can significantly improve the toughness, flexibility, tensile strength and impermeability of concrete or mortar.

CBF-C15-6 is an alternative solution to replace steel fiber, polypropylene (PP), polyacrylonitrile (PAN) and other traditional reinforcement materials, and suitable for roads, bridges, dams and other projects using cement concrete. It has the advantages of superior performance and high economy. In the infrastructural project such as road, bridge, dam or tunnel, it can enhance the toughness, the thermal deformation resistance, impermeability and shear, crack and fatigue resistance of concrete.
