Accelerator of Ordinary Portland Cement

FC-5 is a kind of highly reactive aluminate mixed cementitious mineral binder targeting to improve the ordinary Portland cement with long setting time and low early strength, which can be used as quick hardening additive and Set Accelerator at low temperature. The product is a cement-based material, stable composition, will not hinder the reaction of cement, and has a long-term stable strength development, improve the early strength of ordinary portland cement, and has no impact on the late strength.

FC-5 Can be widely used in concrete, mortar and other products which require improved and quick hardening at low temperature hardening, high early strength or quick demoulding performance for cement product manufacture to improve production efficiency.

Product characteristics

- Good set accelerating and quick hardening effect, especially at the minus temperature such as -5℃, which can ensure the cement setting and sufficient hardening;

Application recommendation

FC-5 is suitable for cement based applications such as mortar and concrete, especially for quick mould releasing application such as artificial stone manufacture or high early strength requirements. It gives ordinary Portland cement excellent strength development along hydration process. Below are the two application examples.

- When FC-5 is added into water plug mortar, it can improve the strength development even at low temperature, and achieve quick set performance at low temperature and low shrinkage. The recommended dosage is replacing 5% -10% of Portland cement, and no need other types of set accelerators.

- In sleeve grouting material application, FC-5 recommended dosage is 10% -15% to Portland cement, and with proper formulation, 2h compressive strength can achieve 20 MPa under -5℃ curing condition.
