LS 290 is industrial grade lithium sulphate, the lithium salt of sulphate with the formula Li2SO4.

 

LS 290 is recommended for early strength improvement in dry mix mortar, especially for sulphate aluminum cement or high alumina cement based fast setting system such as self-leveling compound, water plug etc. The addition level is typically, 0.05 to 0.5 % by weight of cement, and actual dosage should be determined by lab tests.
