Expansion And Shrinkage Reducing Agent:CSA Expansive Agent
CSA 113 provides low alkali content, high effective expansion performance for concrete or mortar. The normal addition of CSA 113 is 6~8% by the weight of ordinary cement, which is much lower dosage than traditional expansion agent such as UEA and CEA (normally 10~12% necessary) to achieve the same shrinkage control.
CSA 113 is a high-effective expansion agent manufactured from natural anhydrite and a special clinker which consists essentially of calcium sulphoaluminate and CaO. When it mixes in the proper proportion with ordinary cement, cement based mortar or concrete can achieve certain shrinkage compensation or expansion at the early stage of hydration. This effective shrinkage compensation allows CSA 113 to be used in many applications to reduce or eliminate crack tendency such as jointing filler, grouting compound, flooring materials and wall plaster or render etc.
